# KYOCERA AVX 006200057052800+: SMT FFC/FPC Connector With Board Guide
The KYOCERA AVX 006200057052800+ is a 5-position, 1.00 mm pitch FFC/FPC connector from the 6200 series. It is a surface-mount, right-angle design with bottom contacts, slide-lock ZIF actuator and solder termination, for 0.30 mm cables, standing 2.90 mm above the PCB.
Its distinguishing feature is a board guide, which helps locate the connector precisely during placement and keeps it aligned during reflow. That improves positional accuracy and reduces the risk of skew, which can make cable insertion difficult in tight enclosures.
Contacts are copper alloy with tin-copper finish and the housing is thermoplastic. With 50V and -20°C to 85°C ratings, the connector suits consumer electronics, office equipment and industrial devices that connect displays, keypads or sensor boards by flat cable.
When designing, include the guide feature in the PCB footprint, follow the manufacturer's land pattern and paste recommendations, and leave space to operate the ZIF slider. Matching the cable's contact side and finish to the connector helps long-term reliability.
